Promoting cooperation in cultural, sports and tourism development between Lang Son province and Chongzuo city, Guangxi, China

On the morning of February 21st, in Lang Son City, the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with relevant units, organized a meeting with a delegation from the Chongzuo City Culture, Tourism, Sports and Radio and Television Bureau, Guangxi, China.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged and discussed several contents to promote cooperation in cultural, sports and tourism development.

In particular, the leader of the Lang Son Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposed several specific contents to enhance regular, substantive and effective cooperation, such as promoting the construction of the Van Lang (Vietnam) - Pingxiang (China) Cross-Border Tourism Cooperation Zone; jointly organizing annual cultural events at the Van Lang (Vietnam) - Pingxiang (China) Cross-Border Tourism Cooperation Zone; researching and developing art performance programs and organizing sports competitions, exchanges and friendly sports matches in the form of reciprocal hosting; cooperating in training and fostering human resources in the fields of arts and high-performance athletes; managing and organizing cross-border tourism activities between the two sides; strengthening the organization of tourism promotion activities in each side to attract tourists; researching the formation of cross-border tourism routes...

After listening to the speech of the leader of the Lang Son Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the delegation from the Chongzuo City Culture, Tourism, Sports and Radio and Television Bureau, Guangxi, China, agreed to implement several contents to promote cooperation in cultural, sports and tourism development. They also affirmed that cooperation between the province- region in various fields, especially cross-border tourism activities, the construction of the China-Vietnam border tourism route and the development of high-quality tourism products would bring mutual benefits to the people on both sides of the border. After the meeting, the delegation would propose to the Chongzuo City government, Guangxi, China, to promptly implement the above contents.

The meeting aims to concretize the agreements and cooperation documents between the leaders of Lang Son province and the leaders of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, on further strengthening exchanges and cooperation in many fields, including border tourism development.
