Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan appointed as new Deputy Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee

On the afternoon of February 27, the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Party Secretariat regarding personnel work.

The conference was attended by Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Committee for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises.

On behalf of Lang Son province, the attendees included Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Ms. Doan Thi Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Also present were Members of the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders of departments, boards and sectors.

At the conference, a leader of the Organization Commission of the Provincial Party Committee announced Decision No. 1938-QDNS/TW dated February 24, 2025, issued by the Party Secretariat regarding the movement of Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan, Vice Chairman of the Committee for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises, to the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee as the Deputy Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee for the 2020–2025 term.

Speaking at the conference, the Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission congratulated Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan on earning the trust of the Party Secretariat in his new assignment.

He emphasized that in his new position, Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan should continue to strive, demonstrate his qualities, intellect, experience and capabilities, quickly familiarize himself with his new responsibilities, and understand the local situation. Moreover, he should uphold political determination, foster solidarity with the other leaders, the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee in leading and directing the effective implementation of political tasks.

The Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission also expressed his hope that the other leaders, the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee would continue to uphold the unity, support, and create favorable conditions for Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan to successfully fulfill his duties, contributing to the prosperity and development of Lang Son province.

In his speech, Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, expressed his full acceptance of the directives and assignments from the Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission.

He pledged to continue striving with dedication, uphold a strong sense of responsibility, maintain a learning attitude, and gain experience to quickly adapt to his new role. He also committed to maximizing his capabilities, intellect, and dedication, fostering unity with other leaders and within the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, officials, soldiers and the people of the province to achieve the objectives and targets of the 17th Provincial Party Congress Resolution, contributing to the successful implementation of the 13th National Party Congress Resolution.
