Lang Son Ranks 4th Nationwide in Digital Transformation

According to the Ministry of Information and Communications' announcement on the Digital Transformation Index (DTI) for ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, and provinces/cities under central authority in 2023, Lang Son province ranks 4th out of 63 provinces and cities in digital transformation, moving up two places compared to 2022. This marks the third consecutive year that Lang Son has been among the top six provinces and cities leading the country in digital transformation (ranked 5th in 2021 and 6th in 2022).

In 2023, the DTI was assessed based on nine main indicators and 98 component indicators. The main indicators are categorized into two groups: the General Foundational Indicators and the Operational Indicators. The General Foundational Indicators include digital awareness, digital institutions, digital infrastructure, digital human resources, cybersecurity, and smart cities. The Operational Indicators cover digital government activities, the digital economy, and digital society.

According to the Ministry of Information and Communications' evaluation, Lang Son ranks 1st in digital awareness, 5th in digital human resources, 4th in digital government, 7th in digital society, and 8th in the digital economy.
