Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee Signs Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement with Vietnam Airlines

On the evening of December 2, at the Lang Son Trade Fair Center, as part of the Vietnam–China International Trade and Tourism Expo (Lang Son 2024), the Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee held a signing ceremony for the "Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement between the Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee and Vietnam Airlines Corporation" for the 2025–2030 period.

Attending the signing ceremony were Mr. Tran Van Ron, Member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Deputy Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission; leaders from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; representatives of international organizations in Vietnam; officials from Vietnamese diplomatic agencies in several localities of China and leader from Vietnam Airlines Corporation.

On behalf of Lang Son Province, attendees included: Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lang Son Province; Mr. Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Doan Thi Hau, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; along with members of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, leaders of the People's Council and People's Committee, and representatives of provincial departments, sectors, districts, and city.

According to the introductory report at the ceremony, Lang Son Province has been maximizing its potential and advantages over recent years, focusing on key investments in strong industries and sectors. Priority has been given to developing unique tourism products and building a distinct tourism brand for Lang Son, aiming to make tourism a spearhead economic sector of the province.

With these objectives in mind, Lang Son Province consistently rolls out the red carpet and opens its doors to welcome investors, creating the most favorable conditions for enterprises and corporations to explore and invest in the province. The cooperation between the two parties is expected to leverage Lang Son's advantages and potential in investment, trade, and tourism.

According to the signed agreement, during the 2025–2030 period, the Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee and Vietnam Airlines will collaborate on promoting investment, trade, tourism, and aviation. They will coordinate research and development of tourism products, routes, and destinations, while jointly organizing or participating in national and regional-level events in diplomacy, education, culture, sports, tourism, investment, and trade. Additionally, the partnership will focus on domestic and international campaigns to promote investment, tourism, and trade.
